Wall of fame!
The Hamadryad project is not an individual project… Many people are helping me out and I’m VERY gratefull for this…
This is why I’m putting up a wall of fame for all my friends helping me out!
But first I would like to thank my parents for all their support… they not only helped me out financially, but also supported me with all their patience and provided me a decent meal and a roof above my head once in a while. Also their believe in the project has been very important to me.
So here goes (names are just in random order):
- Wouter Roosen: Thanks for helping me out once in a while and keeping up your belief and enthousiasm regarding to the project (disregarding the tight shedule you have)!
- Wouter Crucke: Thanks for your great and professional help on the tree-chopping and for your advice on woodworking. During our two years staying in Zottegem I learned allot from you. Also thanks to your father.
- Bert Pattyn: Thanks for putting so much time and energy in the construction of the house… I hope you’ll get something out of all this! You are truly an example for most of the people only caring about their own problems.
- Troy Davies : Thank you for your unbelievable enthousiasm and strong belief in the project. Also thank you for sharing your knowledge and encouraging others to help me out! You have been a great influence and I hope you’ll return soon to join us!
- Steven and Heidelien (MIER VZW): You guys truly are an inspiration. Thanks for giving me such a great advice and pushing me to go just a little further than I was planning to.
- Wim Willems: Thanks for your very decent work on the masonary!
- Wouter VD Vijver: Thank you for helping me out with the construction of the composting toilet. You are a truly “green man” and I hope one day our houses will encourage other people to do the same!
- Natasja De vriese: Thank you for being around, cooking, cleaning and believing in me as a person. You are a “giver” !
- Jan Thoelen: Thank you for helping me out with the foundations and our pleasant conversations! We’ll meet again soon!
- My architect, Marc Schepens: Thanks for keeping an open spirit and advising me during the construction!
- Serge Van Hecke: Thanks for helping me out rebuilding the shed and your last-minute supports!
- Daria: Thanks for being around and helping me with those heavy logs! (What a night!)
- Tom Reyniers, Greet, Bert and Sander: Thanks for helping me get those heavy beams inside. (again: what a night!)
- My neighbours; Family De Crock , Noël and Jenny, Desirée, Joost and family,… : Thank you for being such a supporting neighbours and giving me some great advice!
